Dammit mij one day you will have some good luck, reckon it's due now. My Mrs had something similar, but it was just a lump which was good for a change. Just to make you both feel old, my mrs was born in 88.... I was "found" in 85....

For the first time in 12 years, mine is having a rest.... also my cbt ran out before I got my license (didn't even realise) spot of luck for a change. Currently my iron sloth sits next to the IZH outside in the elements, I hope to pick up a small shed soon so I can get them both back on the road asap. 😅

I ran my scoot solid for 12 years, had many seizures/blow ups/etc, the autolube was the cause of 3 seizures, the bill afterwards caused the other..... 😆 Seriously though, I would not trust any scoot with autolube, I have 1 with a Malossi 166, the others are in several bits in my shed.... 😐

Not to go against anyone who knows better, I personally wouldn't trust an autolube. Bypass it and mix directly in the tank, no matter what kit you use.

I like it, but a skidoo version would be more practical....

I couldn't bring myself to use a Harley part on my beloved scoot, I cannot stand them.... but I am a bit of a hypocrite I suppose, I own (as far as I am aware) the only 2 stroke model they made... HD Cagiva... anyway I am sure there is a real simple way of doing this, but I don't have the electrical knowhow to figure it out.

The Mrs might notice... mine just shakes her head in disbelief... for the 4T lump, would have thought the handlebar would need changing, aren't they auto engines?

I prefer t**tting it with a branch and screaming, they call it the Basil Fawlty Method... If you have your fuel pipe a little longer, you can feed the extra bit of hose through the hole near the carb with the tank almost out but still connected. I pull it up, give it a quarter turn and stick a piece of wood across the hole. Tank settles, and I can get both hands in without feeling like Ace Ventura escaping from inside the rhino, or the fat handed t**t from Big Train.....

Similar way, but I tie some string to the fuel tap, then wiggle it through the hole.

That grind mark is too fresh and a bit convenient to me, might be hot. One looks like an eighties lump, the other looks a lot newer, but I know the thick end of f**k all... 😂

I think I'm right in saying that there are 4 different seat catches, make sure you get the right one for your seat.

Spray the catch with wd40, and scooterg, it's a failure on the mot if it doesn't lock. As per mijs instructions, start with the catch first.
