Not glued on, but I've always found them a nightmare to put on and not let water ingress in to the Speedo on damp rainy days.

Yes, you could certainly do that, you could even fill any dents with filler etc, then repaint.

Looked at polishing it as I have done my car headlights like that, trouble is my bezel is dull and beyond it. Really don't want to damage to manufacturers speedo changing it. So will the bezel and glass come off, cheers.

yes they do as they are sold as spare parts - bezel, large o ring seal and glass.
