Looking at a couple of makes of these 210's for my PX 200. What are the views on one piston ring or two piston ring kits. I am not doing any high mileage, just want to nip along when I need it. Are these kit all Ok on auto-lube. Thanks.

i put a pinasco 215 kit on my P200e back in may. its really smooth and gives a good acceleration. Its not fully run in so ive not taken it over 60mph yet, but it feels that theres plenty more to go. Its got two piston rings. I think that the general consensus is to disable the auto-lube and pre-mix yourself in the tank with the aid of a small measuring jug, since most of these kits run on 3% mixture.

Toystory, for me (and mista freak moped I think 👇) it would have to be the twin ringed 2016 Malossi sport kit, even as with no modifications, just bolted on, it,'s good, even better with cases matched etc and using standard 57mm crank( this can be modified too) or great with a 60mm crank. All the above versions are tried and tested 😉.
Plz read his comments 👇
Malossi call it a sport cylinder kit, but it really for touring (Sip use it on their scoots for touring). If you were wanting balls out fast, I would have recommended the Malossi Mhr kit.

Went to see my local well known dealer today, he recommends the two ring 210 Malossi for touring using the auto-lube on the standard re-jetted carb. Cost of the kit and £100 fitting charge, seems a fair price.

Not to go against anyone who knows better, I personally wouldn't trust an autolube. Bypass it and mix directly in the tank, no matter what kit you use.

I personally have never had one go wrong( seen a few that have tho) and still use it on my Malossi 166 engine.

My bike is 1985 and done fine on the lube system since then. Now it's been rebuilt properly as a precaution I may well chance it for a few more years.

I ran my scoot solid for 12 years, had many seizures/blow ups/etc, the autolube was the cause of 3 seizures, the bill afterwards caused the other..... 😆 Seriously though, I would not trust any scoot with autolube, I have 1 with a Malossi 166, the others are in several bits in my shed.... 😐

if you are going to the bother of topping up, then surely you might as well go the whole hog disable the autolube and add the full 3%?
