Hi, I think that as with most things you need all the tools, the skill, the time and a good deal of patience to do a good job. Good point though about not leaving any sharp edges as this will be a stress raiser and with all the vibration, the source for crack propagation. good luck! Citydaz

This subject was discussed on another Italian scooter website forum recently. Apparently if your power to weight ratio exceeds the original spec then the exemption will not apply. Time to take off those malossi 210cc kits!

my thoughts on this are:
highly tuned engine use synthetic mildly tuned engine use semi-synthetic standard engine use mineral
choose your own brand depending on names, pretty pictures, shape of bottle, cost. Personally i use silkolene because i think it sounds nice as a name and silk is of course very smooth.

OK, I have no first hand experience of these rims, so I am not qualified in any way to comment on their actual quality, fit, form, function or performance. However, my general experience of purchasing scooter parts is that you should buy recognised makes and brands and that buying cheap parts generally results in dissatisfaction due to poor product quality. So for a safety critical item as wheel rims are, I would recommend to your friend that he considers buying SIP or Pinasco rims. There have been many reviews of these product offerings from these two manufacturers in the scootering press.
I wish your friend luck in his quest to buy tubeless rims.

Hi, they are from SIP, but the ones from Beedspeed look exactly the same. I was thinking of buying another and slicing them up so that I have two sections that will fill the hole void without leaving gaps at either end. Is this a solution do you think? Ive got the 10mm version and am going to treat myself to an M10x70mm titanium tapered allen bolt - nice.

Just bought a rear bush and tube for my engine case / rear shocker for my P200e. Im just suprised how short the rubber is compared to the tube and the housing on the engine. The rubber is about 14mm shorter than the tube / housing. Is this right? I can clearly see the rubber of the old bush on either side of the housing on the scooter? Any ideas / suggestions? cheers Citydaz

Have you tried the SIP catalogue, they usually have a list of the bulbs with codes and for which model

You may need to decoke your exhaust - ive done this in the past with a small wire brush and caustic soda. Ive never heard of putting it on a bbq before?
wont the sausages get in the way?

Hi, i replaced my P200e headlight lens a few months ago. It just bolts down to the headset btm by way of the two retaining brackets attached to either side of the lens Fixing it is pretty simple, but be careful not to dislodge any wires as this caused me problems. I dont think any gaskets are required. Citydaz
