Just bought a rear bush and tube for my engine case / rear shocker for my P200e. Im just suprised how short the rubber is compared to the tube and the housing on the engine. The rubber is about 14mm shorter than the tube / housing. Is this right? I can clearly see the rubber of the old bush on either side of the housing on the scooter? Any ideas / suggestions? cheers Citydaz

Are these parts from Beedspeed? I've fitted these before. The first time I got sent them I phoned Beedspeed to check they were the correct part, the reply was " we've sold hundreds of them and never had a problem". They do look weird when you go to fit them, fit the rubber so you see the same amount of alloy case on each side of it and make sure the shock looks "square" to the casing and isn't rubbing on one side of the casing, also the tube come in 2 sizes of hole, one for a 9mm bolt for mk1 PX or 10 mm for all PX EFL and newer, I always fit 10mm hole tubes after making sure the hole in the bottom of the shock is 10mm as it easier and sometimes cheaper to get 10mm bolts, especially if you want longer bolts to hold the tailcan of an exhaust there. Last one I fitted 5 years ago and still going strong. Now I use the uprated BGM rubbers, tho.

Hi, they are from SIP, but the ones from Beedspeed look exactly the same. I was thinking of buying another and slicing them up so that I have two sections that will fill the hole void without leaving gaps at either end. Is this a solution do you think? Ive got the 10mm version and am going to treat myself to an M10x70mm titanium tapered allen bolt - nice.

Hi mate, To be honest, they work fine as long as the gaps are the same each side. I've used and seen them on a lot of scoots but to my knowledge not with slices added, so don't know. If your that worried, how about fitting a BGM rear rubber? The titanium shock bolt sounds interesting, I've never seen or used one. Good luck Mij☺
