Im planning on upgrading the stock 197cc engine in my 1978 P200e. Was originally thinking of the polini 225 kit, but a trusted dealer has advised on the Pinasco 215cc kit. Ive got a SIP road 2.0 exhaust waiting for it. Any advice or experience of the Pinasco kit? Im not wanting a "screamer" or anything daft, just a reliable, usable scoot with a decent turn of speed. cheers.
Hi Ive got a couple of Tacima mains conditoners from maplins. One for my hi-fi (cambridge azur 640 audio amp, arcam cd, project carbon turntable), and one for my TV, dvd, soundbase. Only about £35 and it gets 5 stars from what hi-fi. They really do make a difference, even the wife noticed the improvement.
Dont worry about having a "basic" set up, you can improve the weakest component as you go. In a moment of madness I once paid £100 for the power lead into my CD!!
Try to make make friends with an audio buff - that way you can get his cast-offs for cheap!
Hi, I think that as with most things you need all the tools, the skill, the time and a good deal of patience to do a good job. Good point though about not leaving any sharp edges as this will be a stress raiser and with all the vibration, the source for crack propagation. good luck! Citydaz
This subject was discussed on another Italian scooter website forum recently. Apparently if your power to weight ratio exceeds the original spec then the exemption will not apply. Time to take off those malossi 210cc kits!
