if you are using a sander to flatten the 1500 grit is fine, you can go over it with a farecla 3000 pad but thats optional, polish it with g6 advance its far better than g3, remember to use a soft interface pad on the sander, you can get a wax top for new paint, normal wax can cause problems for the first few month, dont waste your money on g10, i have it in work but never need to use it, i just go over the panels with a softer polishing pad before i put wax top on.

might of said the same thing doulsy before i purchased it and watched it,,,I've gota say mate its the best 20 notes I've ever spent on a hobby suppose your paying for a good 30 years of knowledge,,something searching on the internet and asking daft questions cant find I hear what your saying Gas and thats fine by me, just giving my opinion, i have been on forums from the mid 90's and have found its all about sharing and helping, gave plenty of help to people and sent them parts for free even to other countries, have also recieved the same but i totally respect your decision to buy the disks.

On this topic, I might have a problem! As I changed the colour of My P200E, I sent the log book back to DVLA to change the colour and got it MOT'd whilst the log book was away, the tester asked for the VIN number from the old MOT which I gave him, today I have had a letter from DVLA saying there is a discrepancy with the numbers they have on the V5 and the MOT, and want me to confirm the VIN number from the vehicle which is not on the frame, and I don't know what it should be as I have sent the V5 back? Is there anyway to find the original VIN number from just the registration No.? I have also been asked by dvla to provide a paper and pencil rub of my chassis number, i applied for the log book on the 8th of may and after calling them i was asked to do this, strange that mine is also a p200e

drill the rivets out, they are soft so will drill no bother, the electrical bits are for your indicators you prize them from the outside and push from the inside, i never had a key for my steering lock so i drilled it out, pretty sure you drill the pins on the cover and use the key to remove it.

The only problem with a mazz crank is that you might get one that is absolutely bulletproof, or you may get an absolutely poo one that snaps after 150 miles (as happened to me.) There's no happy medium, it'll either be a good one or a sh1t one. Personally I'd never risk it again....... on some forums they're known as mazzochocolate! Thanks, not sure what to do next, seem to have bother with every single part i look at

my old puter wouldnt pull up the e bay 1 ,prob forgot to wind up the clockwork this week, that or the hamster in his wheel back-up power pack has died of starvation again , with speedo's cheapys from e bay are often in kmh not mph ,as there not for english scoots ,an even tho they have veglia/piaggio on dial it can be misspelt or in blobby writing same with miles/klicks figures, an a lot have wrong colour dials for purists , as there for lml's, but later px 1's have crap printed ribbon wiring which is crap an breaks so people suss out how to wire up lml 1's as they use proper wires,if wrong colour,an dont break so much. the beedspeed 1 is right colour dial i think for a p200,right connection screw not clip an instead of bad chrome has a stainless rim, have heard people slagging beedspeed cheap parts coz there made in switzerland ,dont know if its true or not ,but if it is the swiss are besy clockmakers in world so should handle a simple speedo an its next door to italy , genuine piaggio stuff is made were its cheapest ,china mostly ,at the price on the beedspeed one an look of quality of the dial i'd buy that 1 ,an piaggio can stuff there forced prisoner/sweatshop/overpriced work where only a very fast driven scoot would fit, but thats my personal opinion, an if like me ya spend hours trying not to get robbed by parts supplyiers , it will still happen, its a fact of scooterin life, better to get it done by a local or english firm so ya can go an have a "frank exchange of views" , except for the piaggio main office an aj sutton ,as they overcharge an claim to have stock take ya money an then order it from italy where a 50p part still hasnt turned up 4 weeks later ,an as they know i cant get it anywhere else just ignore e mails or lie to me , sorry rant over, but its a brake part i cant re-use old 1 an ,sorry nearly went again, stuff ive had from beedspeed has always been ok an as advertised/written on the box ,there not the only ones like that ,most have own website an dont do e bay like beed, put off by bad rep of flea-bay parts, check out the ads in scootering mag ,its a guide to who's ok ,but not 100%reliable,ok, have fun, H thanks for the advice, the ebay speedo looks identical with veglia on it thats why i get so confused, need some advice for further down the line, need a new crankshaft and barrel, they have 3 different make's on beedspeed and even more on ebay, i dont want to go malossi or polini, just want quality as close to original as possible, so it would be great if you guys could help, im based in glasgow btw

got an old vespa thats been lying in a garden for 20 year, started restoring it but sourcing parts is driving me mad, lots of stuff is missing, headset and everything in it for starters, engine needs rebuilt including new crankshaft and barrel, i want to keep everything original with genuine parts but finding it hard as different sites list p200e stuff but dont mention genuine or not.
