More than adequate if in good condition. Depends what you are running, too much filtering can slow the flow of fuel

I've just taken the top off my PK and it's got 'Malossi' all over the place. Any idea what cc I actually have anyone? It's labelled Vespa 100 on the rear quarter

I've just got a PX200E and the gear selection leaves a lot to be desired. A new cruciform is in order but, is the gasket the same as in a T5 set? I don't mind spending but if I can save a couple of bob it would be nice.

Riding a T5 hardly qualifies as keeping a classic on the road, but as far as my opinion regarding running a classic goes, THIS big beauty is my daily driver when I have to use 4 wheels... Ride the bike, if you want to just look at it, get a big photo. Insurance PK '77 = £40 Ins PX = £60 You're being done. I had an Amazon once, four door, lovely ride.

Best of luck.

Got my LML in Sept 2003. Just passed 10k 180ed in 2007, no problems at all, apart from cables.

Check the piston rings, could be something silly like they're upside down, don't laugh. Starts and runs for a bit until warm. Something is expanding and you're losing compression, won't run without compression. Fuel problem, pinched pipe, tap not working properly, tank not vented. check all, has same effect as previous idea.

The adjuster is easily changeable, at about £3 it is cheap also. You can get adjusable clutch levers also. You can't really bugger it up as long as the mend of the cable is not too 'frayed'.

Don't mean to p*sh on your chips but please explain the likes of Honda goldwings and silverwings, also BMWs with fitted stereos. A kit for a stereo on a vespa is illegal according to your reckoning. If you have the music so loud you can't hear anything else that would be reckless. Why would I not want to heat the burble of my Harley as I travel the highways and byeways of your fair island? Or the scream of my Vespa or Lambretta around town. Moderation is the answer and anything that keeps me awake and alert is good in my book. The earplug info is very relevant to your argument. I cannot find the relevant legislation you propose as fact.

I had a 66 amazon, wish I still did! Electronic, more reliable than points 150 registered 125, illegal and no insurance, think of the family Amount of miles on classic policy, up to you, will reflect in the price Scoot dated on the frame rather than the engine for taxation purposes Look for a straight frame, take someone with you who knows what to look at. Snobbery (I prefer English) Privately you have no comeback, dealer will give a guarantee of at least a year. (if they don't, do one) Good luck and welcome back.

If the thieves want it they'll take it, question is how much damage they do nicking it. Keep it indoors, garaged, or chained to an immovable object with a big chain, personally my bikes are in the back yard, or out in the lane at the back of the house. The steering locks are on where they are fitted, one of the reasons I left England.
