What do you mean by "disc levers" is it at handlebar end, or wheel end? If handlebar end see page 89 under 'clutch cable'. It really is that easy, takes 10 minutes. If it's a hydaulic brake, it's even quicker.!

I got one of these fitted on my LML when I took delivery. Very useless as a backrest but very useful as a carrier because you just wedge stuff between rest and seat. It holds loads and is very strong. With it being so far back it can upset the balance of the bike and wheelies are a possibility if you have a fair load on.

Have you tried? I find that anything will fit anything with some degree of 'engineering'. It does rather beg the question though, why do you want to know?

I really like using the strawberry smelling putoline, same price but smells lovely.

Plenty of pics in 'Scootering' across the years, visit the website. A bit awkward riding, takes some getting used to, I had some on a GT 200 some years back (1980). Get someone who knows what they're doing to fit them if you are tempted, as you had trouble getting the side panels off some time ago I would suggest, with respect, you don't DIY.

I've got buzzer fitted to my LML, it is quite annoying but it does work well. Fits inside horncover and just two wires coming out, I can hear it clearly through a helmet and over the top of a 180 kit and a simonini. I won't be fitting one to my T5 though as it makes me feel a right t**t while waiting at lights. As for being a reminder the indicators are on, what's the flashing green light for then? Illega?, not according to our testers, they think it's a great idea.

Or just the grey drive, about 50p + postage from TWE. Easy to fit, save your money for beer. I would check the cable for kinking though, that could be the problem at the root, often gets bent where it goes through the frame and will cause seizing. When you have the cable released from the wheel check by connecting to a drill, slowly, if it don't turn it's kinked and needs changing.

If it's any help, the LML also has the baffles mentioned and insulation inside the panels. Also a nifty foam filter under the seat to keep the dust out in India. However, if you put a Simonini on you won't hear the engine at all.

This is by way of a warning to anyone fitting a new headlight unit. I recently bought one from a dealer and on presenting it at the test centre was failed because it is 'left hand drive' rather than UK/IOM spec I know the test on the IOM is tougher than UK (because we don't have MOTs) but it could cause problems for some, also it could be nasty on the road for oncoming traffic.

That would be useful, I have one on my LML and it is comfy, I would consider a cut down version for my chop. Your son makes them? are we talking 'mates rates' here?

I am wanting to fix a 'peanut' tank on my T5. this will enable me to fashion a radical seat for it when it is cut down. Are there special brackets available for this and where should any brackets be fixed to the tank itself? Also, where are the best fixing points on the frame

I am presently bringing a T5 back to life. Am wondering which exhaust to put on. Presently a Sito + but fancy a Simonini to go with the cut down I will create. Needs to be off the shelf because of the ridiculous cost of shipping to the IOM I want full potential from my motor, so output + exhaust is the equation I am looking for.

If you open the throttle and it spits there is only one place for the pressure to be coming from, the pot. Head off and check the rings, may need a new, oversize, piston or a rebore.

Why not just stick a charged up battery in the buttybox?
