Hi all, trying to sell my 1966 150 Super. Bought in Australia a few years ago. Question which keeps getting asked by potential buyers, is is it from Asia? Now I can’t answer that because I don’t know how to tell! Was hoping you boys could help me out here? Cheers

All sorted, thing is I still don't know what caused it. I took the clutch off, took it apart, reassembled it. Nothing looked wrong. Just one of those scooter mysteries.…

Hi guys- After fitting new crankshaft and putting it all back together, engine fired up a treat. However, got myself a problem. when i adjust the clutch up i lose the compression, so engine cannot start. If I loosen the cable, then its back to normal. Dont really know how I can explain it any better than that. Any theories much appreciated. Cheers

Hi all Just put a complete new clutch in but it won't bite. When I disengage the clutch and put it in gear it's no good. Not even close. Lever action is stiff, stiffer than old clutch what with new springs etc. any ideas folks? Steroid injection in the left hand maybe?!

All good, no movement now the casings are back together. Good evenings work as it happens, clutch built and back on cases back together and stator and flywheel back on.…worries me abit when things go a little too well, know what I mean :0/ Those woodruff keys are bloody good tight fits when you have a new crank arnt they!

Hi - having put my new crankshaft in, but as yet to put the casings back together, there is play in the crankshaft, ie if I grab the shaft (oooerr) flywheel side I can move the crank about a mil either way. This normal? I just assumed it would be rigid?

Anybody know (or recommend ) if there is meant to be a 1mm gap between collar? The crankshaft I have taken off appears to have no such gap. Thought I'd get you boys views on the matter. Cheers in advance for any input. ;0)

Hi all, just having abit of a job splitting my engine caser in half. Never done it before so dont want to go and do something stupid (I'm good at that) 7 bolts out going in from one side and one coming in from the other. Nothing else is there? I've given the seam abit of a tap with a rubber mallet but dont wanna go too ballistic. I know there are tools you can buy for this job but I'm guessing some of you boys have alternatives? Any hints much appreciated - ta
