Hi all Just put a complete new clutch in but it won't bite. When I disengage the clutch and put it in gear it's no good. Not even close. Lever action is stiff, stiffer than old clutch what with new springs etc. any ideas folks? Steroid injection in the left hand maybe?!

I have just tightened it as tight as I can and adjusted it but still no good. It's just not engaging at all

Yes I did but it looks like I'll be taking the clutch out again, just done my first engine rebuild and chuffed that it started..…thought it was too good to be true. Damn

Brass plunger or pressure plate missing. Although stiff suggests something else.
