For what it's worth I'm Rollin on savas that vespa fit the px with. They are alright but I wouldn't buy them. You have too stick within their limits. Lasted ok but you can't ask much of them performance wise.

I fitted a simo pipe and it didn't need that big a jet with a drilled filter. Is your one drilled? you may need to come down a size .they are all different but I would make that me first port o call . if you've done plug chops and your good, tweek if the mixture screw . only in first suggests it not a big prob.

I just can't find where to close account wouldn't have thought they would wanted old members cluttering up their site. Guy walks into a gym says I want to do the splits, gym guy says ' well how flexible are you' . other guy says 'can't do Thursdays'. Tc.

Never done it to a scoot but done this sort of Stuff to other bikes it does work but needs to be a tidy job. First time do it on something you don't mind blowing up.

Went to buy new slide and the guy talked me out of it. Nice fella but a lousey salesman. He reconed the one in there was best for what i want . others will give slight changes but without buying every version i wouldn't know which will give the particlar quality i was looking for. So there!(that was me put off).

Yeah thats what I thought about the plug , even with cleaner fuel, ethenol content etc i would still think its telling you something. Thanks for the input. Im going to investigate possible air leaks. Hadn't considered that.

Normal run its light grey. Wot is custard cream (When the scoot is running and sounding right with smaller jet). To get a good colour it has to run very rich. There is no massive bogging but i can tell shes too rich. If any ones had the same i would like to know i havent ballsed me carb up and maybe this guy i was chatting with was serving up sage.

Hello all in my endless pursuit of the perfect plug colour i got talking to a chap who claims that although my plug is saying lean its probably wrong because with modern fuel you dont get enough colour. Saying that with modern engines and fuel the scoots that hes looked at show a better indication from the exhaust port. Any thoughts?
