I've fitted the ac to dc regulator (bgm)(dc) just for the indicators the light staying on ac but now the scoot won't start. I've checked I'have got a spark but the engines not even firing. I confused from my understanding from the regulator onwards is separate from the engine .Any advise would be much appreciated.

I want to install led indicators.( My scoot is currently ac) .I know led's will only work on dc and I've read you can change the wires on the stat plate but recommends you get a battery. Will fitting a 12v AC/DC Voltage Regulator do the job? Has anyone had any experience doing this ?Cheers.

they want photos so I was going to inform them of the front disc conversion. Hopefully it doesn't increase the cost too much

You could test the pick up coil .I fitted a new stat and the coil was faulty.

Thanks Adrian. What exhaust are you using as I have a sip road and just read from someone who's fitted the kit
Change from SIP Road to the Polinibox with the thicker tailpipe. With that, the clinking/clattering was gone for me. I also tested everything before... Spraying, ignition, QC, other carburetors etc. Since the change to Polinibox is finally calm. I suspect that the SIP Road can not disseduce the heat sufficiently

Just an update change carb no change, timing set from 18 to 20 degrees and sorted oil leak still no change but plug now looks fine . Tested pick up coil which is 90ohms, should be 95 to 120 so going to order new pickup coil and pray.

Thanks for the replyThe plug is a bit wet but I have noticed oil on the brake plate which I've got look at. The timing was setup by a mate so not 100% sure. But will take on board everything you suggested. How do I check for a air leak?

I have checked the clutch and I'm pretty sure its assembled correctly I only mention the cush drive as I read on another board someone replied with a similar issue.
"I had a scoot (150 super) doing that and spent months on the clutch changing all sorts back and forth it ended up being the springs in the xmas tree that were broken. There is a plate on the back of the xmas tree that must have the rivets ground off to remove (easy to do at home))...then get the kit that comes with new springs/plate/rivets. this is the next step to investigate if you have done clutch stuff to death"

After rebuilding sprint engine (new bearings seals crank)When I pull the clutch in the kick start goes to the floor and I have pressure and the scoot starts when I don't .But when I go into first gear and pull the clutch in it seems the clutch doesn't engage and I have to stall the bike to stop.Could this be the cush drive? Any advise would be very much appreciate.Of course I don't want to take the engine out unless it's really necessary .Thanks to anyone who replies.

I'm sorry to hear that.Do you think I should have given it some coats of lacquer? The paint shop I went to said I don't need to as lacquer and hardener is in the paint.
