doulsy,Not to my knowledge as both use the same frame, could be different stand feet on your old stand? Think it uses 2 smaller springs in stead of one large spring to make it fit with the bigger T5 exhaust. Ride safe. Mij☺ looked at some images on google and some defo sit different, i took photo before i removed it from frame and put it back on exact same, the t5 was allready stripped when i got it apart from stand so i don't know how it sat.

put the stand on my t5 and the front wheel is only a few mm of the ground, it also has 2 springs.

am not sure it needs draining, thats why i said as a precaution, my mate works in a tool hire place and is always fixing lawnmowers ect due to old fuel, he told me its best to drain fuel when storing stuff for winter, i dont know what the limit is, time wise for leaving fuel in.

yes, just undo the screw and it will come away, i would also ditch the fuel thats left in the tank as a precaution.

I have a Carbine adjustable rear to fit, will be fitting it on lowest setting then working up to the highest setting that's still comfortable for my back ( spondylitis) and doesn't bottom out, I'm 15.5 stone so may end up at highest setting, lol😉 Ride safe J☺ let us know how you get on, i might wind mine back out, back end is solid lol

Mines also carbone adjustable,, got the shock on, but engines still out awaiting malossi so should I adjust it to lowest setting before I put the engine back in ? Front one will be fitted once the engines back in (just unstable and no room to move at the moment) not sure but i would defo do the front one up

SORTED Thanks for that Henri. There was one on the old shock It was well camouflaged with rust, it just blended in with the bolt But when I went to measure the size I spotted it Cheers g i put one on my t5 classic last week, carbone ajustable and i put the long nut on, when i was putting the bolt through the engine i still had to put a good bit of pressure up the way to line up shock and engine bolt hole, had the shock ajusted right up though, think i need the wheel of to ajust shocker or i have put it the wrong way round. i put a carbone front on my p200 a few year ago and it was very bouncy until i ajusted the shock up, thats why i done the back one up before i put it on.

There isn't one between the headlamp and headset, that I'm sure of. i have saw early p200's for th US market with them and maybe some spanish p range's but none on the px, there is quite a few bits and pieces that im starting to realise i need, so much for a quick and cheap build

I prefer Matt finishes, think if it was mine, I would have done. But this is something else, I don't like shiny things..... Think I'll keep an eye on your build... 😀 some of the matt paint jobs on scooters look great, some of the scomadi's for example

At a guess, yes. I would think its like any classic car dash clock, should be a square section rubber ring? Quite thin too. was thinking there should be but what about the headlamp? if speedo is sealed then surly headlamp must also be sealed between headlamp and head set.

That looks good.... I'd use it as a centrepiece in the house... I like the subtle sleeper approach... when i put base coat on it looked great and was tempted to use a matt clear coat, glad i never.

This was all I could find. Found this on Scooterhelp.com. Probably the closest you can find without getting hold of the Vespa club. Im off to eat my dairylea Dunkers and Frubes yoghurt, out of my dinnertin... 😁 Vespa Paint Codes thanks for that, im familiar with max meyer paints, i have a water base max meyer system in work for cars, my friend works for a company who deals direct with max meyer so he says he wil be on it monday morning, i also know a guy that works with ppg and they are part of the max meyer group, i have found the codes of 3 light green metalic colours, 2 from the 1940's and one from the picture i posted above(verde dalmuseo 6380) and the older ones are max meyer 6000m and 6002m this is the 6002 and this is the 6000m 6002 is darker

Took me almost 10 years to decide on a colour, Vauxhall and General Motors have a real good range. I'm going for a subtle flat yellow from the small Vauxhall range. i just came across old vespa paint codes for light met green from the 70's, my m8 works for a supplier so i will let him get in about it for me, i was gonna go silver for simplicity but im gonna go with colour i want, might need to change rubbers and other bits to suit, i have the frame ready to paint but cleaned the inside under the rear wheel tonight and it needs some attention so paint job might not be imminent.

in primer now, that is/ was the damaged side, its not perfect but its ok, choice of colour is giving me a headache, i was thinking a nice retro green metalic but the scooter won't look retro so it has put me off, i believe colours are for certain machines and that is why people get paid to mix colours for a certain design so i might just go with a vespa colour. idea's on colour are truly welcome.

I'll see if I can find my old speedo, it might still have them on the back if i had known you had a speedo i could have bought it, been looking for a genuine one for a while, getting harder to get stuff for the p series unless you buy the indian rubbish, found my self buying stuff then putting it in the bin.

there is ment to be little plastic clips on the speedo holder for tucking cables neatly, would be handy if anyone knew where to source them.
