UPDATE
Used the original wire then added a length of cable twisted tightly together and insulated. Fed it under the mat through the tool box.
Up and on to the bars with some Velcro to fix next to the brake resavoir. Works well.
Off on a run Thursday so time will tell. Let you know.

Cheers Henri
This is just one of those units that have a .5 mm cable with no ends that you wrap round the HT cable.

Mine was attacked by Wakefield scooters as I haven't looked into stripping the carb.
Apparently the float chamber and pilot jet are full or were full of rust.
Need to get a dismantling guid ASAP.
Or is there such a thing as an inline fuel filter you can fit.
Cheers Andy.

No mate, engine only thing not touched, recently had a service and he said it had the correct jets, just seams like you have to coax the candle alight them boom big revs, rides like a dream.
Can anything happen to the jets to cause this, if so how do you get to the feckers, I took the top cover off and thought , three screws, tick over and no idea,,,,,, jets must hide under there somewhere !!

Looks good, do you do instructions on anger management or how to enjoy the country side whilst laid down at the side of the road fixing you scoot. I think I'd buy both

Cheers nick, the horn beeps but there is a push button in the head set but does F All,
The plugs a good colour, if it was rich wouldn't it be black, plus the only way it stars after stalling is with a tickling of the throttle.
There's a place for every scooter, mines currently at the bottom of a river.

A problem & a question
problem, how my scoot didn't end up at the bottom of the river today is purely by luck, for what ever reason it decided to keep stalling from tick over, or unless I was revving some from start, once going it ran well, pulled like a train. When I shut off the Throttle from 50 ish when I pull it back on it hesitated then off we went.
The old bike skills were needed going round a few high speed roundabouts, a trigger for a throttle is no good.
someone please give me a few pointers, plug is a good colour, HT Leads new, checked CDI earth cable
question, i have a battery on the left side, what does that mean ?? Electric start perhaps.
Cheers Andy,
