For those with access to digital radio, I'll be talking to Liz Kershaw this Saturday on her BBC Radio 6 Show between 1300hrs and 1320hrs BST. They're doing a Mod and Soul special, and I've been asked to chat about the scene, and choose a couple of tracks from a favourite album. To make up for not getting round to writing a review of The Pretty Things gig yet, the album I've chosen is their second, Get The Picture? Listen in to find out which tracks I'll be playing. They won't have it on BFBS. Will I be able to listen on-line, without having to do something techy? Are you going to mention the Bielefeld gig?

Mornin' all. It Only Takes a Minute - Take That. A minute in this instance being one sixtieth of a degree (of Longitude for instance, which if you were at sea and had to swim it would be quite a long way) as opposed to being one sixtieth of an hour, a small amount of time, which is banned from this game.

This is going to be a hard game to stay in. I've done all my CDs and I've only found a few more. Desperate times call for desperate measures - it's down to the cellar to unpack my vinyl and cassettes. In the meantime: 2000 Tons of TNT - GG All Stars (Thanks to The Victorians SC).

once again another great read, it sounds daft but at the tender age of 42 its was one of the most exciting moments of my life when they walked on stage, i saw them years ago when i was very young and have been touring with bands for over 20 years, so i suppose without really realising they've been an important part of my life nice one zeppelin You're welcome. I know how you feel, I was in my forties when I saw The Who for the first time. I'm just looking forward to seeing The Specials before they, or I, disappear for ever.
