I cant comment on the Yokahama's but.....I just got a set of Shinko whitewall's which I understand are made by Yokahama. They are fine and I cannot say that I notice any problems or worse handling than my Michelin's which were on the scoot when I bought it. They weren't expensive either. Cheers Rods

I have the Scootrs exhuast on my P200 and have had no probs good acceleration and good top end.
Mind you I havent been able to fit the spare with it on.
If anyone can advise how to fit the spare, it would be a great help

Hello there, Im new to this forum (as you may already know), Im from the uk, but moved out to Australia in November 06 for a while to see what its like here. I originally bought a LX 150 in November but sold that and now have a PX 200, brand new which i am most impressed with. I will post some pics as soon as i have some available.
Take it easy

That was great, I spent a few holidays down there when I was younger, it was good to see places I recognise. We don't get nearly as many scooters on our rides out here, and the charity ones seem to get dominated by Harley's. !!!! We hold our own though

It will come to me though. Im als thinking of getting a full face as it offers a bit more protection but as yet my mind is still not made up..........and do you know what i cant think what

Hello there
Probably not much help but I bought a new PX200 a few months ago down here in Australia. Worth every penny (cent) as far as I'm concerned. The prices work out like for like I just paid in dollars something like $6000 but it all equates. Like you i wanted to get one while i still had the opportunity. I ride it every day to and from work.I just have to find out how to get it back to the UK when i come back in a couple of years.
Its probably not much help but......my opinion anyhow.

thanks for that Postage out here form the uk is a bit much sometimes. I bought a new exhaust for my old LX and the postage cost nearly as much as the exhaust. Thinking about it it was the same with my 4 in 1 backrest for the px.
Thanks again

Hello there
I’ve been scouting around trying to find a chrome flywheel cover for a PX 200 with electric start. Does anyone know where I might get one?
I’m also looking for a patterned cover for the spare wheel, but not the material type, I’m looking for a plastic one that goes under the cowling.
Any ideas, I’ve tried quite a few now.
Thanks in advance

I wear an open face helmet, with a visor but have been considering a full face for a while now. That said ive not actually got round deciding yet especially as its so hot here in summer. Jacket wise I have a parka for riding in winter (now for me) and a summer jacket for summer - even thats a bit too hot sometimes though. Leather gloves all the time though.

Just to my 2p's worth in I have the Corazzo shop jacket and I have to say i am most impressed. Good Armour, waterproof and not too bulky.Although I'm not sure if they have any outlets in the UK yet, It might be a case of ordering from the US.

Joey Yep Spare wheel side. Got to say I am a bit jarred by this, but your the third person who has told me that they have had this happen. Not sure what to do now. What are the chances of it getting worse ?? What size hole would you say I need to drill. If the dealer cant fix it properly this time round and by the sounds of it its probably only going to happen again.
Cheers

Hello there Devo. I have been living in Australia for the last year and you can still get them here. Although I think they are still old stock because mine was first logged as landing here in 2005. I don't think I could cope with a 125 out here as nothing is just down the road...everything is 40 minutes away and i live in one of the built up areas!!!!!!!! I have been looking in to trying to get my px back when i move back to the uk but I am not sure what my chances are. Still you've got to try haven't you.

Hello there. I have a PX 200 that is nearly a year old. Recently I noticed a split in the front left hand corner of the real left cowling. I phoned my dealer who said dont worry its a warranty issue. He had seen this before apparently. He said that he will sort it out.......any way cut a long story short he has fixed it or so he said It has re appeared again !!!!!!! My question is, has any one heard of this or had it happen to them. If so any advice. Thanks in advance ;D Rods
