Hello Bryno, Don't forget that all packings have the same diminsions, except for the thickness ! If you visit the SIP site for carter packing, than PartID 100684140 is the gasket for 125 VNA, VNB1-6,VBB,VGLA/B and 150VBA. In this case 47219 (0.1mm thnickness) is usable for these models. I know from the Belgium forum that these old models may have leakage problems due to the fact that the thickness of 0.1mm does not seal perfectly both carters anymore. For that reason Vespa restorers apply special glue. A better solution is to mount a thicker gasket. I know that these are very difficult to find and some manufacturers even propose to use 2 gaskets of 0.1mm (they also know the problem). The Rally 180 gaskets could be a perfect solution for this problem : 0.23mm = 2x 0.1mm ! Does that make sense ? Regards. Greetings from Belgium

Hello all, I recently bought in Germany an old stock of original Piaggio Carter Packings. Much to my surprise, the layout seemed to be the same for all the different parts. Not even 0.1mm difference. Strange, not ? After measuring the thickness, I found out that only 0.1mm and 0.23mm were available : PartID 112085 : 0.22mm (SS180) PartID 47219 : 0.10mm (used for ?) PartID 8244170 (difficult to read) : 0.23mm (used for?) Can anybody confirm and/or update my info ? Many thanks. Luc Greetings from Belgium

I wonder of the UK has VNB1T-owners. Strange that nobody wants or will react on my demand...

I'm definitely sure to refind the original holes by measurement ! No doubt about that... I'll keep you informed.

Hello sbwnik and bryno, Taping is no option at all ! As I said the holes are covered with filler and the whole Vespa is repainted. I only have a smooth surface. To reposition the new Logo, I need some indications. That explains the drawing. Can anybody make a quick ansd correct measurement ? Regards. Luc Belgium

Hello, For the restoration of my Vespa, I need some technical information from oiher VNB1T-owners. For this reason I have posted my cry for HELP on this site. What is the problem :Coming back from the paint job, I realized that the holes for the mounting of the black Vespa Logo on the front were covered. In order to find back the original holes, I made a drawing indicating some critical distances. The measurement of this distances will make it possible for me to refind the original holes. Distance AB : A : corner point (laying about 4 mm under the top curved edge and formed by the outer right vertical black line) B : center of aluminum peening pin of Logo letter 'V' Distance AC : A : corner point (laying about 4 mm under the top curved edge and formed by the outer right vertical black line) C : center of aluminum peening pin of Logo letter 'a' Distance DE : Measured horizontally where the s of the Logo meets the p (at the little connection). Remark that the distance is measured to the left side of the P ! Distance EF : Measured horizontally where the s of the Logo meets the p (at the little connection). Remark that the distance is measured to the left side of the P ! If you have other dimensions in mind, please let me know. Many thanks for your cooperation. Greetings De Winter Luc Belgium
