Ta for that - I think I registered on the LCGB, purely for nosiness. Good site, but not my cup of tea (and having a lammy would help). Just been looking at the BSSO site, haven't been on it before. It's just my Dad said something years ago about people racing scoots at New Brighton many moons ago, and Bill (Cloud9) mentioned it last year as well - just wondering what went on - probably round about the 1960s I think.

I like the look of the soft touch lids - I've never worn a Vespa helmet, so I don't know what the fit is like - the 'normal' ones do tend to look a bit on the big side though. I like this vintage one...

Book yourself an hour lesson and take advice from there. Don't be talked into spending loads of money on endless lessons which my school tried to get me to do. Some people only need an hour lesson before they take the test, and some people need more - if you've been riding round for that long, you probably only need tips on minor things or to correct bad habits. Forgot to add, I took mine after 20 months of doing the CBT, with a two hour lesson a couple of weeks before the test, then I just practised on my own. Good luck

I passed my CBT last year and it rained all day but it didn't put me off - makes you concentrate better anyway. Go for it - you won't regret it

Maybe it's my sexy telephone voice ;D
Not too sure why it's cheap to be honest, but I remember getting daft £400 quotes from most insurers until I blagged to one of them and got it down. Try the old "well, XXXX Ltd quoted me £215 and I was hoping you could match it" line. I can email you my details if you want?

It's cheaper than I thought - £197 per annum and it's fully comp too!

Louisa...being a fellow girly - ask RAC (which Spence mentioned above) - they'll give you a daft price - MUCH cheaper than £415 and I must have asked about 10 different insurers - and they don't ask too many questions either.

Haven't had one for a while ;D
Name a song title with a girl's name in it. eg 'Valerie' - The Zutons
Please restrict yourselves to one answer at a time, it makes the game last longer. If someone beats you to one you've got on your list - tough - that's the game.
And track back to make sure no one's already posted your answer! - Spence

;D Oh my God Lucia that really is sad! good job ur bro never told us that in college, the ribbin he would of got lol ;D ;D I think his first record was either Tubby the Tuba www.tubbythetuba.com/ or the Blue Cat (Magic Roundabout) which was a bit scary. ;D But really, David Bowie was my obsession ('Heroes' and 'Low' bought from Skeleton Records in Birkenhead - and still there folks ) and strangely, The Beatles (when everyone else was into either Wham or Duran Duran)

haha - at least you weren't a freak like me and bought the film soundtrack to 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', just 'cos I used to fancy Harrison Ford - that was after I scribbled all over my dad's George Formby record covers with crayons and told to scribble on my own instead - haha
