i wouldn't give that simmo pipe a new home if your using a dr180 kit after using a sterling on my dr kit for the last year and knowing it was good but felt like it wasent giving enough i put on a simmi pipe exact same one you have last weekend. i was wrong dam wrong the simmi has totally opend up the dr180 in every way possible better pick up in every gear smoother running in every gear faster flat out faster up hill i now keep up with px 200s no problem it even sounds awsome proper angry wasp in a can. dont go for a 22 tooth clutch it will either kill the performance orr blow up the engine unless your going for full upgrade crank the lot. the clutch is as it is to stop you blowing up the engine in the first place a 21 tooth is more than adequate upgrade with less risk

On the 19th im gonna have a daytrip over too Beedspeed to grab a load more little assorted shiney bits and leave them my hubs for chroming..got some more bits too pick up from the engravers midweek and a couple more bits too leave with em, Stereo slotted in and new speakers so people can hear me coming LOON-E

like the idea of street art graffiti its something you don't see anymore on scoots it was done quite a bit in the 80s but like the 80s its almost vanished. if you try find late 80 street art you might get lucky and find graffiti that goes along with your theme. i do remember FISTO train bridge graffiti but that was in west yorkshire there was a bit of uproar when he eventually got caught and jailed as every one liked it. you will cave in i always do when someone else has my scoot in for things doing its like losing an arm or somet being without ye scoot

was it out of true, too much run-out ,or twisted , as the first can be fixed by hitting with a hammer ,honest , most scoot shops charge about £35 to true a crank , H

When it was put back into the cases after being balanced it caught.....easier allround too just order new, im very lucky/jammy too have a very good friend that owns his own bike shop..with getting mates rates on the labour and parts at cost, he,s better off doing a "Real, paying" customer job/MOT and ordering the new part and fitting it when he/1 of the other 2 fella,s there..or me has a bit of time..if its usuable/fixable/saveable too anyone on the board, you especially H (as you always come up with help/a answer) gimmie a shout n its yours..for that matter im gonna be left with sh*t loads of used/old/unwanted bits when im done..free too a good home..(well postage n a beer would be cool), Im no hoarder and wont be using em again...This Scoot is gonna be my "Keeper" n im not after another..3 bike max in my house/garage.. vespa..gsxr..and a diff random (cheap)winter hack every year, gonna be a few weeks yet but as soon as things are far enough along i,ll post a list/pics of bits that are parts bin bound...anything that goes in there i wont be needing Henri took 1st dibs on the cdi a while back so thats gone..there will be plenty more odds n sods too follow (keeps the missis happy when i tell her " im clearing out some stuff" Spread the love LOON-E

its shiva with the arms , ganesh is just a elephant head on a human , the overcomer of obstacles ,so burn a few joss sticks or other long/thin things too him an you'll be right , am likin that satin black ,matt-blacks posh sister , high temp laquer an that will be bullet proof . its almost a shame that brake blocks so pretty/shiny considering most is hidden inside the frame , but you'll know an so will we ,eh. am liking this ,but not in a faecesbook way , 80's aint my "thing" ,having lived through it ,but am liking the theme .more late80's-early 90's really . an by the way utd are pants ,liverpool rules ok, sorry as a born n bred am contractually obliged to say that , H oh n forget to say ,dump that px rear light , go super/sprint 1 ,my personal fave , H

Been a really slow week thats seen very little done ..didnt mind too much as i knew yesterday i was gonna ride over to Beedys n grab a few more bits (2nd time in 4 weeks), did get the flywheel off and brightened up a bit before i left...picked up my bits from Beedys without paying much attention..got home and ive got a new regulator..when my list had cdi unit written down .. ..and my carb top isnt the disc shaped 1...still fits (will it be ok or does it have too go back too??)..bit of a ballache but will call em mon morn n sort out the wrong bits.. More importantly they told me they are finishing with the fork extending/twisting service.....where else can i get mine done?? Few piccys of odds n sods..right and wrong that came home with me sat Fiat flame red flywheel..brightens it up a bit Carb top...not the right shape..is it ok too use just coz it fits? new junction box/ht lead n plug cap Red kickstart rubber and some pike nuts....jesus wept the price of em!!i have been outta the buying loop for 20+yrs spare wheel cover..going away for some paint Awesome brand spanking new reg......even though there wasnt 1 on my list..i was expecting cdi should find out tommoz when the frame can be blasted.....now talk too me about alternative fork fettlers people LOON-E
