have ya got a full bike licence ,if not its L plates an no passengers for you. for solo riding a 125 will be ok , only modern auto ive had was a LX an it was a nippy fun ride in town .but if intending pillion an longer out of town jaunts a gts200/300 sounds more the ticket ,but will need a full licence .thinkin out of the box ,with a car licence theres a MP3 . a mate who was into big bikes took one on in part-exchange ,rode it,loved it an now has sold his bikes an runs the mp3 as his sole-ride . an talkin heresy now ,how tall are ya , as bigger riders are finding the scomadis (modern lambrettas) good size wise , nxt year there talking off a 200cc an maybe a 250cc ones coming out . H was looking to take my full licence but as I haven't yet, thinking 125 to gain experience then maybe 300 later depending on residual values etc. Thanks for reply.

Complete newbie here, have wanted a Vespa since the 80's and need some advice. Ok, in the throws of a full on midlife crisis! Can anyone recommend the best modern Vespa to go for? Looking to take a passenger (not the slimmest, lol) will a 125 do the job or should I be looking at something bigger ? Any advice appreciated with the exception of telling me to join Weight Watchers!!!!
