Quick question before I fill my P2 up with 5L. What do you do when pulling up to a petrol station? Do you - Use a can and fill it with petrol and put in the oil and shake? Or Fill your scooter tank up with petrol and then add the oil on top? Also I am thinking of 1 and half cup of oil or 2 cups of oil with the jug for 5L? Everything is standard on my P200
Thanks

Pushed it around using the front brake held in slightly and there's a squeak coming from it as well as the grinding sound

I wheeled my scooter out earlier today and used the front brake, it works fine but there seems to be a grinding noise coming from it? I haven't been out on it since the end of November. I did clean it and dried it off, it was still a little damp though maybe it hasn't dried enough and its rusted?

Hey Henri, sorry for bugging you with questions but would you be able to link to jets I could buy from Beedspeed or somewhere? I'd appreciate it a lot. I see them with all different numbers so not sure which to buy to go with the SIP Road 2 exhaust

Just wondering what the best exhaust is for a standard P2 engine? I'd rather not mess around with anything as I don't have a clue about jetting and timing etc. It's a plain standard P2 no kits or anything.
I heard about the SIP road 2 is good for standard engines? I'm looking for more speed without having to mess about with any carbs or jet settings.. If possible, thanks

Silly beginner question, sorry. I just bought a P200 and have been told to use 3% oil ratio. I was wondering how many cups of oil that is in a 5 litre tub of petrol using the measuring cup?
Thanks in advance

I just took it out for 10 minutes and got home and let it idle for a few seconds and it didn't die. When I went to start it today It literally died with a second or two.. Maybe it just needed running again, I was told it hadn't been started for almost 2 years until a friend had it and used it a few times

I know it doesn't turn the engine, I was just told the fuel was sent around sorry. I don't really know much about them to tell you truth. I tried it with the choke off and fuel tap on and off. I didn't try reserve though I'll have to try that. Thanks, both of you

I bought a P200 this Sunday, it can take a few kicks to start it up. I've rode it and everything seems fine, I went to start it today using the choke and it starts but then dies, I can start it again but the same problem occurs? What do you think it could be?
I was told to pull the clutch in and kick it a few times to get the fuel around (I didn't do that earlier)

I'm writing about exhaust smokes in college, I have chosen to do a PX model as I have a owners workshop manual and just need some more things to write about. Anything is appreciated, thanks
What do you know about smokes coming from an exhaust? (Blue, black, white)
How would you identify the problem? (I have from the colour of the smoke already)
Also, how would you go about stripping the engine down if you had too and what tools would you likely use for the job?
Thanks for the help!

Haha yeah it's good when it's working I went to start it earlier, compressed it and then went to kick it off and the kickstart hit the floor and goes back up I think the flywheel was spinning, it's done it before and it was just the woodruff key? Problem I don't have a clue how to do anything haha. Thank you ill give you a shout if I need anything

Haha thanks, the kickstart problem was fixed now, I'm only 17 so I've not really got into the engine stuff but I'm learning the trade at my college. When we picked it up from the garage they told us it was the first smallframe they've MOT'd. Do you think tightening the clutch cable will stop it pulling when I rev in 1st?
As for the electrics, everything just went dead, lights and horn didn't work so we put the stator on it and they start working until about half an hour of riding the scooter, when it's started cold they all work which the garage did and they didn't realise that they cut out after riding until we told them and they said it's the light switch...
