Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me the best autojumbles to go to for scooter parts? We went to Kempton Park yesterday but all we came away with was a big grin ;D
It was aimed at old Triumphs, Nortons etc and there were some lovely machines there, tons of unrecognisable (to me) bits (aparently the "rack" I was looking at was a subframe for a motorbike haha how dim?!!) oh and an old Contessa scoot! Oh no don't tell me I should've bought it! LOL
Thanks all, Mrs M

There are specific scooter parts fairs (usually advertised in Scootering mag and similar mags, and just finding ads surfing the net). Or you can find stalls at scooter rallies, all-dayers, weekenders, biggish ride-outs etc.
There's also your local scooter shop/supplier, then there's online scooter shops, plus that well know auction website (just don't over-bid!)
I'm sure there are dates that I haven't discovered yet, but this is one of them I have found...
May 13 - Manchester KW Parts Fair, George Carnall Leisure Centre, Davyhulme, Manchester M41 7JF. 0151 289 8201

Hey Bryno, was it busy? We couldn't make it I've remembered the one I was trying to, errrr, remember - I went to Ardingly years and years ago and it was brilliant. Not sure what it's like now, but found this info - not even sure if they do an autojumble there! "Sunday 28th October: Classic Bike Show Please contact Julie Diplock on 01797 344277" but there's also "Sunday 4th November: Autojumblers Association. Please contact Mr Eric Morgan on 0208 7592711". Better give them a ring and find out Info from www.seas.org.uk/diaidx.asp?m=11&y=2007
