VESPA PX 125 Auto Lub, electric start. I am doing a rebuild due to a damaged crank, the threads on flywheel side were mashed up,, so bought a new crank "ukscooters VESPA 3 PORT CRANKSHAFT ASSEMBLY LML 2T PX125-150 NEW" fitted it but had issues with clutch, I thought, wouldnt kick start, felt like slipping like clutch was stuck in slightly. removed clutch which was a real drama to get back out had to use a puller and a proper force.. so its now out, I noticed the oil cog that turns the oil pump was not reaching the woodruff, I looked at the old crank and it looks like the depth from crank flush to woodruff slot is slightly different enough that on old crank woodruff works on new crank it does not.. ?

Hello there. I'm wondering if the new crank is for a non autolube engine.if things dont work out with the autolube might have to put two stroke oil in tank.good luck with it cheers alan.

PX crank is the same regardless of model.
It maybe a poorly machine crank.
One of the best upgrades on 2T LML is change the crank out for an european original.. Mazzachelli,MEC/Tameni, RMS, SIP tc.
If the keyway is in the wrong place you are on hiding to nothing. Send it back and get a known one.
