Before you go down the route have you done the usual checks to rule out main seal failure?? Hand over exhaust, glove finger over breather on clutch cover
I made my own with an old fashioned blood pressure kit, some hose a 2 into 1 splitter piece for the tube and an innertube see ebay then you tube on how to make a simple kit. Get rid of the inflable, and connect guage to pump and to innertube valve (remive schrader) cut the inner tube and seat it over manifold if using big carb manifold and exhaust stub. If SI carb will need a blank and carb off
Once you have air going in you need clutch and stator off, spray flywheel side seal and at drive side bearing behind clutch with soapy water. Also spray cylinder base and head. Spray casings in case any hairlines. Then watch for the bubbles.
Good luck in cracking it

Thanks for that. Yes ì have done the basic checks and couldn't find anything, that's why I'm looking deeper 😒 hopefully it's not a cracked case . I'm still getting my head around smallframe engines,
