Just been listening to an American radio show about films - Filmspotting. Part of the show is that they do top 5s of something, last week was top 5 sex scenes. Then the week after viewers write in with notable omissions. Anyway, someone said the Quadrophenia scene down the alley should have been in there and that couples are regularly known to make the journey down to Brighton to reenact the quicky. Made me laugh. I wonder if that has a positive or negative effect on the property value of the street?

::)Brighton is renowed for people that like back passages so I should think it has a positive effect.

Mark I shouldn't laugh, but I did.
Devo if I remember correctly from my review copy of Chasing The Wind - A Quadrophenia Trainspotter's Guide, the alleyway's adjacent to a Chinese takeaway now.

;D
Yes indeed, and get their prawn crackers out. But I think a number 69 might be a little tricky to rustle up.
Come on, someone had to say it.

Well as long as they are all consenting adults and they keep thier back passage free of clutter nobody will get hurt. ;D Isnt it amazing how quickly a thread can degenerate.

Not sure how long it's available for, you might have to be quick, but last Thursdays Mark Radcliffe show on Radio 2 had Noddy Holder on talking about Quadrophenia and its impact. About an hour and 10 mins in.

At the time it was the back entry to 'Choys Chinese Restaurant' now it's the back of 'Mama somethings cajun joint', as seen on Ramsey's kitchen Nightmares.
