Hello, I am new to this forum, I have a 1964 Piaggio ape ac4t, I have an issue with the timing I just can’t sort. It used to give quite a kick back when starting so I retarded the timing a bit but now just won’t start, before when started it ran really well, I have tried local scooter garages but can’t get anyone to work on it. What I would really like is someone who knows what they are doing with one of those discs to set up the timing correctly as iit just seems like guesswork taking the flywheel on and off and turning the stator each time, if someone near to dartford in Kent is interested that would be great, thanks in advance

Not cheap but you should get a buzzwangle from sluk, great bit of kit and maybe a strobe light, where are you based
