i have taken delivery of 1968 vlb, i have no log book ,i need to prove age to register in this country , can anyone tell me how to prove age to DVLA

hi glyn lue is right you will need a engine and frame number rubbing send to vintage vespa club they will give you a dating certifacate hope this helps , ferdy

Bear in mind if it's from outside of the EU, you need papers to prove duty paid on import, or you'll be liable for VAT when you come to register..

Oh and watch out the VRO are now asking to see the vehicle on registration!! a few people we know and our nephew have been turned away and had to rearrange appointment and had to transport scoot to them!!!!! thats what we are doin next week!!!!!

finally , 31/2 months after purchase i have my scoot on the road, it was a very frustrating experience, forms 4 this and forms 4 that,,i told DVLA i had a bad back so i couldnt take scoot to bournmouth to have it inspected,, so they sent this school leaver round , he was good, didnt know where frame or engine no was, he then inspected one of my spotlights thinking it was the headlight,he told me he normally inspects tractors..F**K SAKE

I used to be a fan of Massey Fergusons, but I've gone off them now. I suppose you could say that I'm an ex-tractor fan ! ---- the old ones are always the best eh ?
