i have a spaco carb on a pinasco 177 kit sip road 2 exhaust I'm having idle fuelling problems I've cleaned out both jets and tried adjusting idle screw and air screw i can get the engine to idle fine after first warm up but once i take it for a good run as soon as i throttle off and go into N or 1st at the lights or junction the engine dies unless i keep the revs up it seems to do this after a full throttle run or a longer ride basically when warmed up any ideas maybe im messing up adjusting the screws i assume the idle screw on the spaco should be 2.5 turns out ive noticed the engine doesn't cut out with the screw fully in! also should i start with the air screw fully screwed in?

the idle screw is on the top and adjusts tick over by moving the slide in and out
The air/mixture screw is the back of the carb box - this adjusts the fuel and air mixture Screw in to weaken and out to richen the mix
Assuming all the jets are stock SI 24 Pilot 55/160 = 2.91 Choke 60 160/BE3/116
The 116 is too big to start, drop to 112 and try setting up mixture and idle.
Engine need to be warm to do it
I always start at 2.5 out and go in, to probably 1.5 quarter turn checking
See what happens
Next would be slight reduction in the pilot jet size to a 140/120 = 3.0
Are you running a standard air filter ?
What ignition and timing are you using (ducati type or the newer Chinese type ) ?
