Well after alot of messing around, the scoot seems to be running OK. I'm using it for commuting a couple of times a week ( 20 mile round trip ). The torque seems OK, pulls not too bad, sounds a lot faster than it is tbh tho, the most I've got out of it is 64 mph..wierdly on 3 separate occasions, there might be a bit more if I was brave enough to try. I was just wondering if that is all I can expect from this kit ?. It has standard PX200 gearing, Sip 2 exhaust, fast flow fuel tap, drilled out air filter, 24 mil si carb, 128 main jet, 2 turns out on air mixture, timing set at 18 degrees. Running the premix at 3 per cent. The engine does seem a bit wop,wop when I shut the throttle off but apart from that and the top speed, all seems OK. I was trying to sell it but there's no interest so I'm gonna keep messing with it for the time being 😁.

No porting ? If you haven't matched the cases to the barrel then 64 is probably about right. My bgm motor is ported and cases welded, does 82 on the gps .

Fair enough, not much more than standard really then!. I'm glad it wasn't me who spent good money on the kit. Thanks for the reply, I might just stick a standard barrel back on it for the reliability tbh.

Hi, i also have a Pinasco 215 and a similar set up to yourself.
Im also a bit disappointed with the top end speed. It feels as if it has more to give.
Perhaps a SIP road 3 might release a couple of extra bhp?

This should pull more than 64mph.
These are not the fastest kit, the port layout isnt anything special, there is only on casing port (akin to standard) but you get the ali cylinder and nickosil lining - more for touring.
The set up you have seems pretty much what i would do, but i would suggest a shorter 4th gear (T5) and a more revvier pipe, expansion the SIP performer, JL or SIP3.
This should pull high 60s topping out at 70.

Hi, yes I have a T5 4th gear.
Think I will swap out the Road2 for the Road 3 as soon as I complete my current scooter rebuild project.
