Now I am redoing the brake cylinder reservoir seals as l have noticed that it is leaking a bit up there !! Looking down at it and wondering if it's sitting Right !! Which way do you put it in ?? Cup side down ? Or cup side up ? and a bit of sealer after round the cover plate might help with leaks !! Or leave well alone !! Best foot forward soulboy74 🏴

Hello there. Cup side down and only fill resevoir about a quarter full as when you put diaphram in it will push fluid up to the top off the sight glass.try not to over tighten the two cover screws as it flattens the seal to much.an extra tip is wedge the front wheel in the straight ahead position and put rags around reservoir and around front legshield and front wheel mudguard as you dont want brake fluid on the paintwork it will burn it. Wash off with water if you do.good luck cheers alan.

Nice one 👍 thanks for letting me know yes I thought it might be that way just was not sure yes I have taken a little bit out as well ! Put a new seal in place today and it seems to be a little bit thicker than the original one and sits better than before with a tighter fit!! Just hope that it doesn't leak like the old one! It didn't leak a lot before ! But Hay should be water tight right ! and I always cover the scooter in all jobs done 👍 thanks best regards soulboy74
