Hello to everyone.anybody help with this question I'm getting 88psi on compression reading when hot on my px 125 want to take barrel off without droping engine. can take studs out but worried about using double nut method to get them out havent done that method before any tips please. The double nut trick works very well and easy to do, have a look on YouTube 👍

Cheers adrian. I was a bit worried about the threads going back into the caseings. going to test it again when hot on compression and if the same will take barrel off thankyou for your help cheers alan.

I have never had a problem putting back in . Measure how much is at the top on each , and put back to same height above cylinder 👍

If its never came off before it will need some welly, that's normal it'll be threadlocked. Tighten the bolts up very tight into each other before using the bottom one to undo. Good luck. Why they didn't let the barrel side out is beyond me and obviously beyond vespa too.

Cheers scooterbooster. your right about the barrel not being able to slide off I was hoping it would but I didnt want to take off cables and pipes to drop engine a couple of inches to slide barrel off. Cheers everyone.alan.
