Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a good quality replacement piston for my 215 pinasco kitted vespa. I've asked this same question on YouTube and Facebook through freakmoped, but no one can give me a good reliable answer to where I can find one, it all seems a bit vague. Everyone is saying pinasco pistons are unlreliable, but know one can tell me exactly where i can get a replacement. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are no alternatives for Pinasco over their own due the nicosil cylinder size.
The Pinasco piston is not too bad as long as you dont push the boundary of the engine and kit to far.

Thanks chaps, if I get any grief I'll more than likely put a standard barrel and piston back on. Does anyone know what the ballpark figure for a dyno run might be?.

Depends on a lot of factors ; whos dyno, bolted on kit, extra work, carb, gearing expansion etc. I would say anything between 14 and 20 bhp depending on the work.
The pinasco is more a touring kit as opposite the more dramitical port layouts of some other kits.

Sorry, I meant to say price wise, how much £ to put a vespa on a dyno to set up the carb. Just a roundabout figure really.
