And check on that copper shim. It must be the right one. Beedspeed might have used any old rubbish.

It’s cool bud I worked on building sites most of my life I can take it 😆. I’ve check the plates they seem ok. Il find out more tomorrow when I put it all back together and install it.

I have had the clutch out and apart check everything and all is ok there and today I removed the selector box and I didn’t find any problems so it’s not the clutch or the selector box

Looks like you will have to dig a bit deeper and split the cases and have a good look at the rest of the gear components 😔

Split the end today and I found the cruciform isn’t good. All the rest looks ok. I got photos but I’m not paying for drop box just to upload a couple of photos unless yous know of a free software to do it.

Glad you found the problem. Didn't you say crusaform was new ? Or is it just a cheap one from India 🤪

Got it off eBay. I’m replacing it tomorrow for a proper piaggio one.

Hello there do you think the cruciform was not engaging in the cog and sitting between first and second gear. or second and third.causeing the engine to rev but not driving the gear cog interesting this one.cheers alan.

I was happy for abit thinking I found the problem and il have it done tomorrow. Now I’m worrying about the cruciform not lining up 😆. Need to find that out tomorrow.

When you put it together do your final and middle cogs line up good ?

Yes they all lined up ok. New cruciform installed yesterday and today I went on a test ride for 40 minutes. No slipping gears. Thanks guys for the help.

Good result!!!
After several years with Mk1 P200 gearbox setup and a tuned motor going through crifirms I changed to the later Px200 set up using the flat cruciform... That and the cosa clutch are by far the best upgrade i ever did.
