Just a thought why do everyone Go and change there main jet when changing out there exhaust to a sip 2 or something similar when really you need to be looking at the correction one as well l could not get a good result with a bigger main so I looked at the correction one and l am running a little richer again 👍 best foot forward soulboy74 ✊🍵 time

Its a good point but with changing only an exhaust its usually all that needs doing to cover the increase revs which generally only effects the upper speed levels. Years ago availability of different AC jets was very limted so upjetting and over richening was the done thing.
I played with AC jets on my current build but came back to the standard with increased main and a larger pilot.

Thanks for your advice most welcome l am going through this tuning the carb settings and it's right may be the best way is to just keep checking back to your plug for a reading !! I only did a air filter drilling modifications and the plug after a few miles was lean after putting a bigger main jet in so I am going back down to standard and see if I never needed to go up !
