Now I am wondering about the speed when you hit about 5o mph!! I was out again giving my scooter it's weekly run out trying to go at wot and l didn't feel as if the scooter was as safe as before !! So I slowed down to 40 mph and do you have to do anything to stabilise the scooter for faster riding !? It's great at 40 but Hay not so as you start to go faster than 40 mph any advice most welcome !! Best foot forward soulboy74 ✊

What tyre pressure are you using ? And also what tyres? I have bgm sports tyres, and they feel stable at 70. Had some swallow tyres on a scooter I bought, and they were awful at 50

Then there is road condition, and road surface to add into the equation 🙄

Okay yes I feel like it might be a tyres issue as well the type l have on are still the original pair !! Look like all weather type very square looking !! How you ever get up to them speeds of 70 mph and feel good to go l will never know !! Did not think vespa Go that type of speed must be using rocket fuel ✌️ peace ☮️ soulboy74

I recommend SIP Performance NOT their Performer, but they are over kill on a standard PX I ride 60-65 no problem with handling - taking wind and bad roads out the equation.
Good shockers including all the rubber bushes, good engine mounts, good tyres, good rims and as said the correct tyre pressure is essential. Also check steering bearings.
On you 125 Michelin S83 is a great alrounder.
Your bike if all aspects are correct should be fine over 50mph, in its standard form its built to do it.

The key is tyre pressure, faith and the right tyre. I found the Pirelli tyre was best for me, but Michelin S1 were terrible. Conti twists were surprisingly good for serious motoring miles.

I second the conti twists, had them on a previous scooter, but after trying the bgm sports, these are now my preferred option, feel so much more confident around corners, and have taken them to 85 on the gps on the m25 and more than happy 😊
