Just wondering how much would be ok to use ? With out it causing a problem !! To the running of the scooter !! Or is it a case of one or the other !! any advice or veiws most welcome ✊ soulboy74 🏴

The autolube is very reliable, but I had one fail years ago, so always remove it and mix in the tank, the old school way. It's either autolube or premix, not both

Nice one 👍 thanks for letting me know just wish this was old school type! I have always been doing the 2% oil with the lambretter many moons ago and never found it a problem as all the petrol pump had two stroke oils out as well just a shot or two in the tank and off we went easy rider!! Now that I have been and changed the main jet to 98 after the air filter drilling modifications will this affect the oil to petrol auto lube setting ?? Or should I just put the 96 standard back in and see how it runs ? Just a thought!! Best foot forward!! Regards soulboy74 🏴

My t5 owned for 9 years - always used Putoline TTS - IN the 90,s never had a seize - been told by Rob Kerr never use different oil in a autolube - ie semi synthetic - fully synthetic - mineral oil - people have mixed + seized , something to do with the viscosity of the oil I think he said , hope that helps.

The autolubes are pretty reliable as said On a standard set up it is fine, but do not add oil in tank aswell. There is some peace self mixing ss you know its in, unfortunately its usually too late sfter the autolube had failed. The filter mod and mj increase will have no bearing on the petroil mix thru autolube. Get it out on the road with the 98 and see what it is like
Agree dont mix mineral with semi ir fully syn, stick to one

Plus you can use injection oil in tank but not pre mix in auto lube.

PPS I have been using the sip fully synthetic oil in the auto lube ! as the guy I bought it from told me just use the red one and didn't know just what he was putting in! So I drained it out with a big syringe and started using the sip fully synthetic one and it's running okay same time I drain the petrol as well as l think it had been sitting in the tank a long time!! Soon as I did All the oils change out it started to run nicer ! Just show's you a bit of love for your scooter will Go a long way!! Best foot forward soulboy74 🏴
