I'm fitting a set of bgm silent block bushes to my 125 cases and I've got stuck Using a threaded rod I've successfully pulled the larger gearbox side bush in and it's bedded in correctly. The smaller clutch side bush is almost bedded in but refuses to go in the last 10mm or so. Under the tension of the threaded rod the inner metal tubes meet and touch, but as soon as the tension is released the tube springs back and the rubber is definitely sticking out of the swingarm too far. I've also tried using a socket to press on the outer edge of the bush, but it just squashes out under tension Any suggestions welcome.

When I fitted mine , I sprayed them up with hairspray, as a lubricant, and they went straight in.

Sounds like it's snagged. You felt inside? Defo try with lube if you've been trying it dry you can cause problems. An unhappy Union.

I followed the BGM instructions which said to use talcum powder. The larger bush went in no probs, but the smaller bush is sticking out maybe 5/6mm. Using a threaded rod I can get the inner metal tubes to meet, but as soon as the tension is released they move apart so it's definitely the rubber part of the bush that's stuck. I'll get some thicker threaded rod and proper lean on it.

Turns out I had to trim 5mm off the narrower section of rubber and the bush pressed straight in.

Cables wiring suspension is all bgm, and haven't had any problems
