Hi I’ve just finished rebuilding a P200e engine but I had problems with the gears till I found out I have the wrong selector rod in. I can split the engine but I keep thinking can I replace it without spitting the engine. The cruciform should stay in place so I can’t see why I can’t do it without splitting the engine. What you think guys

Only worry would be cross threading. Go easy these parts do cross thread easily.

Early boxes have a washer/spacer between rod and cruciform, have you fitted it?
