Hi,
Is there any point in upgrading to SIP road 3? The current set up I have is a Pinasco 215 motor with a SIP road 2. It feels that the motor is constricted when i try to open her up.

My parmakit was maxing out my sr2. Major bummer. I got an xl road. And it is superb could not recommend highly enough.huge gains in power throughout rev range especially suits hammering it but a pleasure in traffic to. I was tempted by a '3. But super glad I got an xl. Never tried a '3. Look forward to hearing some reviews on it. Some of us must have one on here.

I had the 2 on a tuned autisa kit P2, bottom end tune, 26mm SI and was happy with it on short and long motorway hauls.it was chrome and sounded sh*te but did work. When the 3 came out Wasp were selling for about 110 quid delivered i thought give it a try, ive not used in anger yet after lockdown as i mostly ride lambretta. The early signs are good and it feels like more power but still rides very well low down. As for prolonged top end whos knows, but it should be an improvement. If i were you just wait til the 2 has dropped to bits I didnt opt for the xl ss my tune isnt big. A Pinasco isnt to far so i would say the 3 should ideal. Before the 2 i was using SIP performer expansion, great pipe on top end and acceleration but low and mid i didnt like. The 2 definatly lost a bit of acceleration and top end but was a better alround ride.
