Hello everyone, I made this post so I can show you my journey through the restoration of my 1980 APE50. It's one of the last points models with no electric starter, you got this nice lever on the side of the steering column you have to pull vigorously to start the thing.... Wiper is pedal operated Bought it for 200€ in the Annus Domini 2003 when I was just 14, upgraded and de-upgraded the engine so many times, crashed it 2 or 3 times and finally abandoned it. Shown a picture to my boss and he thought It would be a good idea to bring it back to London after installing a job in France so we can use it as company vehicle ( ). So we embarked in this 24 hours trip from my hometown of Albenga to Britain on a lorry; I must say the border police at Calais was rather perplex by the unusual three wheeler. www.dropbox.com/s/45mihhdvpye8j0z/IMG-3648.jpg?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/wxe4ty8r7glp19v/IMG-3678.jpg?dl=0www.dropbox.com/s/135x1b9eolncg2m/IMG-3679.jpg?dl=0My plan is to start fixing the engine first: -new crankshaft -electronic ignition from a PK50 -102 DR Cylinder -24/72 primary -Gianelli exhaust should be capable of hitting 45 mph on this configuration, which believe me, it's quite a lot for a sardine can on 3 wheels. I already got some of the parts, I'm going to keep you updated with more pictures, not sure how often though. Best, Dan

Why are cats so good at standing still?
Because they are on paws.
