Hi there I am just wondering about the PX 125 my11 model cylinder stump are they all standard set or can they be replaced with bigger or smaller size stumps as it looks much to big to set up my sip road 2 box !! it had a cat to start off with and the last owner change out the manifold part and kept the box on still so I not to sure what has changed !! Do I just take off the old system and try to get the sip road on. Don't think it will fit. โ

The stub on the px cylinder is cast and a part of the cylinder, it cannot be not remove.
To fit the SIP R2, you need to remove all parts of the old exhaust
The new SIP pipe then simply bolts to the swing arm and the manifold of the pipe is pushed on the stub of the cylinder and tightened.
Im sure there is a tutorial on SIP

As above. Dead right Yeah it'll fit. But the sip road is very tight. Take all the Old shizzle off . Once all is removed you'll see what your doing.Don't over tighten use springs if it comes loose.

Right thanks for that l am sure you are right l have just realized that it's got a Giannelli manifold on that has replaced the old cat one!! That's what was confused me a little!! Now has any one else had one off these setup on there PX Vespa. I think it a good way of getting the cat off with out lossing the original box exhaust system. And does it need to be up jets like a sip road?? Any idea or advice much appreciated

I would remove it all and fit a SIP R2, the SIP pipe will have has gain over the standard box even with a gianelli manifold.

Now I am just wondering if you can over tighten up the clamp?? Now I have been trying to get it to the right spec in NM and I don't want to do any damage is just snug tight ok or do you have to get the right tightness!! For proper performance! Best regards soulboy74 ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ

Its pretty much secure via the main bolt on swing arm. Use an exhaust sealer and as said dont go mad nipping it up

My last torque wrench broke 10years ago. I guess everything. Or rather do it by touch. Same sort of thing.
