PX 200 when I turn off the lights the engine stops  All the electrical items work with the lights on . This may have been there for sometime because I always ride with the lights on. Any help would be appreciated . Mo.................. |

Never heard of this problem before 🤔 will be interesting to hear what others think. But I would just keep the lights on 👍

Thinking about this, and it's a good anti theft measure, because who would think about turning the light on to start the scooter 🛵

Could be something to do with what I think off as the kill switch wire or an earth problem. Have you re-wired at some point and had a mix up? I'd also take a good look at the switch unit there's loads of exposed points in there is water getting in? Is indicator switch box damaged? Hard to pin point electric faults without having a good rummage around.

Px indicators are a constant issue, was always fiddling with the earth's and panel connection 😒

Sorry I ment the light switch not indicator switch. Yes my indicators need a little slap every 20 or so miles they are kunts always have been always will be.

Just been reading about the wire work on vespa now are there kill switch on vespa ? and if so where is it ?? Or is it a after market set up ? Just a thought !! Soulboy74 peace not war ☮️

No kill switch as such. But the green wire from cdi is the kill /stop running wire

Got it ! Fixed to the main on) off. Key! Sos for sounding thick ! Just a quick question if you are ever in a emergency on road trip like throttle stick can you just switch off the key so no power !! In Nutella ? And coast to a stop ?

Yes if you switch off the key it will cut electrics and engine will stop
