Hi,
I bought a scooter a long while back and spent many hours working on restoring it. I got it on to a state where it was roadworthy and was about to try and get it registered and on the road. Fast forward many years and life seems to have got in the way and it has been sat in my shed for all that time! The thing now is that a big part of my life (marriage) has left me needing some money that could be tied up in the shed.
I am wondering how much the average is that I could expect to gain from it as if it just a few hundred quid I'd rather keep it for the sentiment but if it is worth something I could pay towards the wedding it might be worth it.
It is a 1982 Vespa P125E. I have stripped and cleaned the engine and replaced more or less every part. I have done the paint in duck egg blue and Mini old english white. It is not registered so would need to go through the DVLA when the MOT is passed but there will be some work needed. Stuff that being in a shed for 10 years causes, indicators cracked etc. The speedo will need replacing as it did not have one when i got it and did not get round to doing that. I kicked it the other day and it started more or less straight away so the engine can't be that bad.
Any info/advise would be massively appreciated.

Have a look on ebay for similar spec. scooters and then act accordingly.
