Brake light switches

So I have gone full dc and using led headlight and taillight, now I seam to be going through brake light switches, they just stop working. My mechanic said it's because of the low voltage not causing a small spark and helping clean the switches??? But doesn't know of a solution to fix this 😒 so has anyone else had this problem and found a solution????without going back to a normal rear light

Ah...will be interested on any answers to this..went through the same a couple of years ago & ended up going back to normal rear light after much frustration

OK so on another forum I have been told to add a relay to the braklight feed wire 🤔 not sure how this would help , any input as wiring and electrics is a black art
