Following my thread on returning the PX to the road I have cleaned the carb and fuel tank, done some cosmetic stuff and replaced the tyres and am now awaiting some parts. I have the clear replacement fuel line but was wondering whether I ought really to be using an ethanol resistant hose? Very conscious that this is under the tank and out of view if it degrades. Another observation is these scoots were very much built to a price! The wheels do have some paint on them but its a bit hit and miss. I quite like the idea of some alloy Pinasco split rims, any thoughts or experience? Prefer the thought of being able to change tyres rather than take to tyre shop using SIP onebpiece rims. Probably getting ahead of myself but waiting for parts leaves you time to plan!

Dont use E10 fuel if you can. Personally i would stick with the original rims if they are true and round, and get them blasted and powder coated in the colour of your choice. But dreaming of upgrades keeps us all busy doesnt it!

Yes use ethanol resident fuel hose. I upgraded to bgm rim's and I'm very impressed with them 👍
