Hi , I’m sure this has come up before , so sorry in advance for bringing it up again . I’ve acquired a px125 (2006) with Malossi 166 kit fitted and I’m having a bit of an issue . It pulls off well but once past 3/4 throttle it just doesn’t run right , feels like it’s bogging down , holding off . A few weeks ago it bogged down and back furred a bit but was ok after that , now it just bogs down . It has a spaco 24/24 carb on , air filter is drilled , set up is 160/be3/110 , autolube disconnected and mixing in tank @3% . Any advice appreciated .

Hello. Awful stuff. Sorry state old boy. Hard to tell from here but your main jet may be too rich. But beware! Check your plug. A black sooty fella will confirm over enrichment. But it could be a complex over enrichment through out your stack. As I said beware this is a humdinger to get wrong. A real doozee!! Saying that you don't sound a million miles out for a drilled filter. So Check your plug. Just go check it cold if its that far out and your last journey was a fair one it may just show the way. Go !! go now check it like the boss you are.

I have had a similar issue, turned out to be stator plate, and I thought it was carb related 😅, turned out to be double sparking , which I had never heard of before, learn something new about scooters 👍
