Vespa px 125 malossi kit hard kickstart

   Hello,
Recently bought a 2nd Px a sorn Vespa px 125 with malossi kit. Wanted to know if I should be experiencing a really hard kickstart probably high compression or am I possibly looking at something within the engine. It starts but kicks back a bit and rocks forward when using the kickstart. Tried it without the plug and the movement is fine due to their being no compression. Is their anyway of reducing the compression to make it easier to start. Any advice or knowledge of a similar issue would be appreciated.

always had high compression on my kitted P2...better than low,..if you push it down slowly on the first kick, it should be easier next kick

Thanks for the reply, It's probably just me being used to a standard PX that starts 1st or 2nd kick every time but the comparison between the two is ridiculous. Need to do a bit of legwork at the gym 🤣
