On the bars it’s in neutral and neutral in the selector. But when I shift into first it can go further round than it should and same with fourth. It’s just been rebuilt and I’ve tightened the cables to the best on of my limited knowledge (decided to learn instead of deleting on my best mate 😂) I’m just curious if there’s a reason why it’s doing it? Not 100% sure if it’s always done it though.

You just need to adjust the cables a bit more. You can buy a cable tool, that helps pull them tighter, and you can remove some slack using the trunuons at the gearbox end 👍
