a quick question before I order any, im going to take the head and cylinder barrel of my p2, can I reuse the cylinder studs and nuts or is it best to replace with new items ? the reason i ask is I replaced the engine bushes with some BGM ones and a bit of swarf and rubber might of got into the exhaust opening as I drilled and messed about getting the old ones out, not 100% sure it did but would be gutted if any crap got in there

should not be a problem in re-using the existing studs & nuts. But, could be an opportunity to upgrade to stainless steel, titanium, or any other exotic material that claims to improve performance!

Titanium… 😵💫 The price for what you get is totally insane. Once had a guy call the firm, he suggested selling titanium wheelnuts for old cars. Think the price per set to buy in (16 nuts) was nearly £150…. 🤯 What kind of lunatic would pay that??? Either go with a good quality mild, or brass would be better… 🤓
